Dog Training Services

We are dedicated to helping you and your dog reach your full potential in training and want to use training to help them live the best life they can. We always train obedience first and can also help with reactivity, trick training, service dog tasks, public access for service dogs, and foundations for sports. Our training methodology is as positive as possible. We use mainly positive reinforcement with safe balanced methods as needed to help the dog reach their full potential. We only use what the owner is comfortable with. We will never force a prong or e-collar on someone who doesn't want to use one. If those tools are desired, we use them in safe ways but only use them if the dog does not respond to other methods first. We understand everyone has different comfort levels and preferences and respect your beliefs on training methods.

What We Offer

Obedience

A solid foundation to training is important for a dog's well being. It is our responsibility to teach our dogs how to act in a human society. Obedience helps a dog learn manners and is the foundation to all other training. We start with the basics and build up to more advanced obedience to reach the level of training as desired by you.

Reactivity

Reactivity is a dog reacting to any stimulus in a way you don't want. This can present as aggression, fear, or over excitement. Many times aggression is also fear based. We teach your dogs how to feel safe and calm so they can look to you and trust you for guidance. Two hour sessions are preferred following a consultation in order to help the dog reach their full potential!

Specialty

Dogs were bred to have a job and so many love to work! Giving your dog a job can enrich both their life and yours. We can teach tricks, foundations for sports, and train service dogs for those who need them.

*Service dog training is not open to everyone. Only those who require a task trained service dog to aid in a disability qualify per ADA law.
